1 SPECIFY BATCH LEVEL

Enterprise Structure Logistics Gen Batch Management  Specify batch level and activate batch status management
[OMCT]
Batch numbers are unique at Plant level. This is SAP standard setting.

2. BATCH NUMBER - ACTIVATE INTERNAL NUMBER ASSIGNMENT

Enterprise Structure Logistics General Batch Management  Batch Number Assignment  Activate internal batch
number assignment (OMCZ)
Internal batch number assignment is INACTIVE. If you want the system to automatically create batch numbers, you
must activate this.

3. Batch Creation - for Goods Movements

Enterprise Structure Logistics General Batch Management  Creation of new batches  Define batch creation for
goods movements
D Manual without Check
The above setting is maintained for movement types:
101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 301, 311, 501, 502, 531, 532, 561, 562, 565, 711 - 718
If you don't want batch numbers to be created automatically in certain movement types, this setting should be used.

4 Characteristic Value Assignment -- Update Standard Characteristics

Enterprise Structure Logistics General Batch Management  Characteristic Value Assignment  Update
Standard Characteristics
Executed this program
This program needs to be executed in all clients. If you have created object dependencies for characteristic
LOBM_RLZ, then this program should be executed again after creating object dependencies.
5 Activate Batch Classifications for Goods Movements in IM
Enterprise Structure Logistics General Batch Management  Characteristic Value Assignment  Valuation for
goods movements  Activate Batch Classification for goods movements in IM -----[OMCV]
Batch classification in Background (1) has been activated for movement types: 101, 105, 301, 309, 501, 511, 531, 561,
565
Required, if you want to use batch determination.
6 Batch Determinations – Condition Table (Cross Client)

Production Order Strategy Types---- [OPLE]
Added Z001 (Plant) AND Access Sequence is given as Z001
11 Batch Determinations - Strategy Types
Enterprise Structure Logistics General Batch Management  Batch Determination & Batch Check  Define SD
Strategy Types-------[V/C1]
Added Z001 (Plant) AND Access Sequence is given as Z001
12.Batch Determination – Batch Search Procedure
Enterprise Structure Logistics General Batch Management  Batch Determination & Batch Check  Define IM
Search Procedure [OMCY]
Modified ME0001 to include ME02
Step :20 Cntr :
CType : ME02

13 Batch Determinations – Batch Search Procedure

Enterprise Structure Logistics General Batch Management  Batch Determination & Batch Check  Define
Production order Search Procedure -------[OPLG]
Modified CO0001 to include Z001
Step: 30 Cntr : CType : Z001
14. Batch Determination – Batch Search Procedure
