REFLECTION OF SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION

We talked about SLA and the Krashen’s hypothesis. We saw that there
were lots of things that we should pay attention in teaching process such as the
impact of first language on the second language, personality, culture and etc…
I need focus more on how ı can make use of all the clues and thoughts as a
potential teacher
I had no difficulty in understanding.
I am sure that ı will make use of all the things as much as ı can do. First of
all, we can discriminate the acquisition and learning. Although there are some
similarities in both , in fact, they are different from each other in many
aspects. But, both have a natural order. So, we should be patient and wait our
students to get enough input and then there will be output, production.
Moreover , being exposed to the target language is also very important for
learning process as it is in acquisition. When it comes to affective fitler
hypothesis, we should create a comfortable athmosphere and make our students
feel relax. In fact, they are all related to each other. They all put the humanism
to the center and the feelings , thoughts and expectations of students are
crucial. Furthermore , we should care about their making use of the second
language. We shouldn’t try to teach just for the sake of teach. At the end of
the learning process, can they make use of the language in throughout their life
and all the hypothesis and claims are just for this.
