Key Decisions • Pre – production; I decided to stick to a limited amount of websites and places to get my information on and put it that youtube, Art of the Title and imdb would be the most popular site to get information and watch any films i needed. • Production; In my production i made a choice to stick to the same camera so that the quality and footage was all the same. I chose a camera that was a standard camera without HD, so that the grittiness and independent filming came through in our film. • Post – production; I had to decide on the software i would use, to edit my film and make and sound needed. Pre - Production This is where i got any bit of information about films from. From casts, budgets, earnings and distributors. This website was very useful as all the information i needed was all in one place and so this was the only thing i had to use.
Youtube is what i used to watch film
trailers, opening sequence or certain parts of the film.. This was good because i was already familiar with how to use it so it wasn't hard to work and also i had set up an account and I also used this to watch films as it had lots of could now upload my own videos. films on there. Production We used this to film our opening sequence on. They were not high definition cameras or any special quality so the outcome of the footage wasn't great but it went well with the grittiness of the film.
This was to keep the camera steady when it wasn't being
hand held. This was a really good extra as it made the footage still and not at all joggy. It also was good to change height of the camera and also direction, whilst keeping the camera at a steady pace.
This was the tape that our film was recorded
on. This was good as it was easy to find footage by fast forwarding or rewinding the tape to find a certain place. Post - Production Photoshop is what we used to make our title, credits and typography. As there was so much effects and different styles to choose from it did take us a while to decide, this is the only iMovie is the software on the thing i can say was bad about he Mac where we edited our software. Also, after making our filming. This quite simple and credits we found that they did easy to use so we had no not them in again. difficulties when using iMovie and editing our film and also adding effects. Although one Freemusic.com was also one of the difficulty we did have was sites i used, this was for music in our putting freeze frames on to out film. This was easy to use and had a film as we had problems with it wide range of tracks to choose from, freezing, although we did also having them sub headed helped overcome these. alot in finding the perfect sound.
