B. Gas Analysis

The documents describe six gas chromatography analytical methods using different columns, detectors, and conditions to analyze various gas mixtures. Method 1 uses a molecular sieve column and thermal conductivity detector to separate and detect oxygen and nitrogen in ambient air. Method 2 is similar but also analyzes argon levels using a cryogenic attachment. Method 3 analyzes reformer gas components like hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane. Method 4 is similar but also detects low levels of ammonia. Methods 5 and 6 both use methanator and flame ionization detectors to detect carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, with method 6 analyzing these components in the presence of methane.
