Abstract
The objective is to develop a system
which maintains the details regarding the taxes
and bills to be paid by the citizens. The purpose
is to design a system that allows users to view
the tax and bill information and also provides a
facility for online payment.
Existing System
• The present systems maintain the relevant data
across files and ledgers. The concerned
authorities must update the data regarding bills
and taxes and send the same to customers. The
authorities must collect the data from various
departments and agencies. The customer needs
to approach the appropriate offices to pay the
bills. The system lacks coordination among the
various departments
Proposed System
 The proposed system is a web based
application which maintains a centralized
repository of all related information. The
system provides facilities for users to know the
details of their bills and taxes. The user can
make payments online. The user can brose the
details and in case of any discrepancies, the
user can contact the concerned officer. The
system also provide a facility to generate
reports.
Modules

The system has the following modules.

• Administrator
• Customers
• Reports
Modules:
Administrators:
 Administrator maintains the entire application. Administrator
manages and updates all information in the system.
Administrator generates various reports based on requirements.
Customer:
 Customer must be a registered user. Customer can access bill
and tax details by submitting relevant details such as customer
id or house number. Customer has the facility to make online
payments. Customer will get a receipt after payment.
Reports:
 This module supports the generation of various reports base in
different criteria.

IDE : Ms-Visual Studio .Net 2008
