HBS - 2.1.3 Brain Chart

The cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and is responsible for voluntary actions and thinking. It contains four lobes - the frontal lobe controls reasoning and movement, the parietal lobe processes sensory information, the temporal lobe is involved in language and hearing, and the occipital lobe processes vision. The cerebellum, located beneath the occipital lobe, controls balance, coordination and movement. The brain stem regulates vital functions needed for survival like breathing and heart rate. The limbic system influences emotions, memory, and drives like hunger.
