Ellis Island is a great place to visit, it doent matter what age

you are. Even though most of the Island is found to be part
of New Jersey it’s only a short ferry ride away. Ellis Island
is know for immagration, so is now suprise that while on the
island you should visit Ellis Islands Immagration Museum.
Also while on Ellis Island you are able to tour the Lady
Liberty including her crown which hasn’t always been
allowed.
Number 2 : 9/11 Memorial &
Museum
I found this museum
one of my favorite. This
is a museum based on
an event that happened
in our lifetime, so I
think it is very impor-
tant to check it out if
you are in N.Y.C. The
museum is the home to
many exhibits honoring
those who were killed
during the nine-eleven
terrorist attacks.

“THE MEMORIAL will remember and honor the nearly three thousand people who
died in the horrific attacks of February 26, 1993, and September 11, 2001. The Memo-
rial will consist of two massive pools set within the footprints of the Twin Towers
with the largest manmade waterfalls in the country cascading down their sides.
They will be a powerful reminder of the Twin Towers and of the unprecedented loss
of life from an attack on our soil.”
Number 3: Empire State Building
The Empire State Building is one of NewYorks main attractions. This land NewYork
landmark reaches more than a quater of a mile into the sky above the heart of Manhattan.

The Empire State Building offers a number

of activites for visitors. On the 86th floor,
visitors are able to visit a glass pavillion that
allows you to see an unbelievable view of
the busy streets of Manhattan that is be-
neath them, from 1,050 feet in the air. There
are also a couple resturaunts and coffee
shops located in the building, along with a
few other stores visitors are able to shop at.

The Empire State Building is opened

365 days per year so there is no reason
why you should not be able to stop in!

Although this zoo is very small

only 5 acres, it is worh seeing,
and is home to more than 150
differnt species from around the
world. While visiting the zoo
be sure to check out the differnt
things going on for the day, in-
cluding stuff like the feeding of
the sea loins, peguins, and habor
seals. A main attraction of the
zoo is the sea lion pool in the
center of the courtyard. Whit

to watch the sea lions swim-
ming and twirling underwater.
The zoo also has a new addition
called the Tisch Children’s Zoo.
The chilrens zoo allows kids to
feed a few of the animal and take
a walk through the enchanted
forest. As you stroll along be
sure to check out the differnt
exhibits throughout the park. A
favorite of mine is “Alice and
Wonderland.” Central park zoo
is affordable and great to see.

Coney Island
Number 5:

Coney Island is located in Brook-

lyn on the beach front of the Alan-
tic Ocean. Coney island has many
things to do. It is home to the orgin-
al “Cyclone” roller coaster and has
other amusement park rides. There
is the famous boardwalk where you
can get an amazing hotdaog with all
