TC October News 10-18-10

Ms. Gaddy's first grade class had an engaging week making connections between their reading and the real world after reading a story about 9/11. They will begin responding to reading in journals and will publish stories about scarecrows, applying what they learned from fall-themed books. In math, students reviewed addition, graphing, money and will touch on subtraction. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for October 19th and the class needs donations to replenish their snack supply.
