Print Server Configuration

Print Server Configuration

1) Power on Print Server Unit


2) Connect Lan Cable to Print Server
3) Connect Printer To Print Server using USB port
4) Switch on of Printer
5) Install Print server Software on PC [ Print server & PC should be same VLAN ]
6) After software installation open the software and click on discover button
7) After that you get Print server name to left side
8) Click on Setup wizard
9) Click on next
10) Type Server Name & wright down port name which printer connect
11) Click Next type
12) IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and click on next
13) Type work group name & click on next
14) Click on next-next & save
15) After that click on link button it will show you printer model name and port name

Configure Printer another PC


1) go to Start- Setting- Printer & Faxes
2) Click on Add Printer
3) Click On Next
4) Click on Local printer attached to this computer
5) Uncheck automatically detect and install my plug and play printer
6) Click on next
7) In create new port option select standard TCP/IP Port
8) Click on Next
9) In printer name & or IP address option Type IP address of Print Server
10) Port Name option type port name which available on print Server Software
11) Click on next
12) Select Manufacturer if you have inbuld printer software then select printer model
13) Otherwise click on have disk button
14) Click on browse button
15) Give driver path- select .inf file- select Printer model and click on next
16) Type printer name & click on next
17) Click on Do not share this printer
18) Click next Driver copy process will start
19) After that you can see printer will be install in printer and faxes option
