Notes for checker of


report (G4)

Information for punching shear at internal column G4 at Roof


Column dimensions 510x305 mm
Slab thickness=150mm
Slab with stone aggregate concrete
Also refer general notes at start of section

Allow 50mm finishes


Column on a masonry internal partition wall line. Total wall length is 11.602m,
height only 2.663m Thickness .150
Use of area supported by this column is : Walls only
Concerns (Y/N) : YES as highly stressed under a punching shear check.
However there was no visible distress to the soffit of the slab around columns
generally (although this specific location may not have been checked)
Conclusion as to why (R/A/Y/G): Yellow as FOS is 1.81
Recommend that live load is limited to 1kPa.
