Application

The letter is a request from Mrs. Raheela Mughal to the Station Commander regarding entry passes for her nephew Shahrukh Mughal and his wife Afsah Zaheer. When Mrs. Mughal applied for an NOC to live in Malir Cantt, she listed Shahrukh and Afsah as part of her family. However, she has now been told they cannot get permanent entry passes as they are considered a separate family unit. Mrs. Mughal insists they are part of her family and have always lived with her. She requests the Commander reconsider and issue permanent passes for Shahrukh and Afsah.

The Station Commander,

Station Headquarters,
Malir Cantt. Karachi.

Dated 2nd May, 2016

Dear Sir,

Most humbly I state that I am living in a rented Apartment No. 47/3-C, Askari V, Malir Cantt
since February, 2016. I was issued NOC No. A-6577 by your esteemed office (Photocopy is
attached). At the time of applying for NOC I had listed the names of all the family members who
were going to live with me and the name of my nephew and his wife Shahrukh Mughal and
Afsah Zaheer were part of that list (Copy is attached). All other necessary documents were also
attached. On the basis of that list I was issued the above NOC. Temporary passes were also
issued for all of us.
To my utter surprise and disappointment I have now been told that permanent entry passes
cannot be issued for my nephew Shahrukh Mughal and his wife Afsah Zaheer as they are
considered as a separate family unit. If that was the case, NOC should not have been issued to
me, so that I could have not gone through all the hassles of shifting. I am under great tension
because I never expected such bureaucratic approach from our adorable and enduring
institution of Pakistan Army which is known for its righteousness.
I vehemently assure you that they are part and parcel of my family and I cannot imagine living
without them. Shahrukh has been living with me since his childhood and is just like my own son.
I got him married last year in December.
Now, after stating all the above facts, I most respectfully request to your kind honor that
permanent entry passes may please also be issued to Shahrukh Mughal and his wife as they are
part of my family.
Thanking you with great regards.

Mrs. Raheela Mughal
