To install the NEPLAN V5.x demo: 1. Unzip the NeplanSetup5xxNoManual.zip file and run NeplanSetupV5xx.exe as administrator. 2. Start NEPLAN and choose "start NEPLAN in DEMO mode" to enter the demo license code from the NEPLAN website. 3. If using Matlab/Simulink, delete certain redistributable dll files to avoid conflicts.

Installation of NEPLAN 5.x

Unzip the file NeplanSetup5xxNoManual.zip. (e.g. NeplanSetup541NoManual.zip)

Run NeplanSetupV5xx.exe.
Attention:
On a Windows Vista, XP, 2000 or NT computer you need administrator rights to install NEPLAN.

Start NEPLAN and choose start NEPLAN in DEMO mode

With the following dialog you will be requested to enter the Demo-License Code. The Code you will get
from the NEPLAN demo web site: http://www.neplan.ch after submitting the Machine Code. This easily
works via Copy/Paste. You should be logged in as administrator!

!! Important note for Matlab/Simulink Users !!

!! Important note for Matlab/Simulink Users!!


If you have Matlab installed and you intend to use Matlab for developing dynamic NEPLAN models or if you are
running NEPLAN and Simulink together in a dynamic simulation, you should delete the following Matlab
redistributables dll's:

- icudt24l.dll
- icuin24.dll
- icuio24.dll
- icuuc24.dll
- libeng.dll
- libmx.dll
- libut.dll
- zlib1.dll
These files are only needed for customers without Matlab.
