What is mobilization ?

What comes in first in our mind when you are


Community think or hear the community.

What is community
A community is a set of living people
together with a common interest.
We are all living in a community there are
different things that blind us together.

Definition of Community Mobilization

Community mobilization is a process through


which action is stimulated by a community itself,
or by others, that is planned, carried out, and
evaluated by a communitys individuals, groups,
and organizations.
In other words it can be viewed as a process
which begins a dialogue among members of the
community to determine who, what, and how
issues are decided, and also to provide an avenue
for everyone to participate in decisions that affect
their lives.

Community mobilization needs many kind of


supportive resources which are internal (inside
community) and external (outside Community) as
well.
Aims at informing and gaining the commitment of
community leaders as well as local government
agencies, Nongovernmental organizations(NGOs),
women's groups and cooperatives.
