Installing Instructions for Implement Handle Helper Spring ORDERING NUMBER 399 481 ROL - IMPLEMENT HANDLE HELPER SPRING Parts Accessory for International Cub Cadet 70, 71, 72, 100, 102, 104, 105, 122, 123, 124 and 125 Tractors not equipped with the Hydraslic Unit. INSTALLATION Assemble the lift rod bracket to the lift shatt and secure it with the "U" bolt and two (2) 5/16~ inch hex, nut and lockwashers. ‘Notes’ The leg of the bracket locates flush under the Hftarm, See Illust. 1. Connect the lift rod to the spring and insert them from the rear of the tractor along the in- side and on left side of the frame, Then attach the end of the lift rod to the lift rod bracket and secure it with the 1/2-inch flat washer and the 5/32 x I-inch cotter pin. See Ilust, 1, (On all models remove the rear left capscrew from the seat support, then attach the adjusting bolt bracket to the eeat support using a 3/8 x 1 inch hex. head capscrew and lockwasher. See Illust, 1, Insert the adjusting belt through the hole of the bracket and screw it into the welded nut on the spring, Tighten the adjusting bolt to obtain the correct epring tension, Note: The lift effort can be varied by loosening or tighten ing the bolt, ‘Then reinstall the previously re~ moved panel to the seat support on the Cub Cadet 102, 104, 105, 122, 123, 124 and 125 Tractors. Note: On the Cub Cadet 102, 104, 105, 122, 123, 124 and 125 Tractors the rear panel of th seat support must be removed so that the ad~ justing bolt bracket can be attached to the seat ‘support, See Iilust. 2.
