Phataphysiology: in Guillain - Barre Syndrome, The Myelin Qheath Surrounding The Axon Is Lost

Guillain-Barré syndrome is caused by demyelination of the nerves due to an immune response, commonly following an infection. There are different subtypes depending on whether the damage is to myelin sheaths or axons, and whether motor or sensory nerves are affected. The most common form is acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy where myelin sheaths are first damaged followed by axonal injury, typically affecting adults. Acute motor axonal neuropathy mainly impacts motor nerves through macrophage activation and is more common in children.

PHATAPHYSIOLOGY:

In Guillain Barre Syndrome, the myelin Qheath Surrounding the axon is lost.
Demyelination is common response of heural tissue to many agent &
conditions, including physical trauma, hupoxemia, toxic chemicals, vascular
insufficience & immunological reactions.
Loss of myelin sheath in Gaillian Barre Syndrome make never impulse
transmission aborted.
Probably a cell mediated immune response to preceding infection.
