This project involved constructing a King Post Wall for a Luas (tram) terminus near an existing tramway in Dublin. Holes were bored 400mm in diameter into the granite bedrock and partially filled with concrete before steel columns were inserted to allow the main contractor, Siac Construction, to excavate and install precast concrete panels and a new water main to support a deep excavation.
