CHRISTMAS PARADE
What a great parade !!!!!!
Thanks to John Koehn for
chairing this project and
for those who served on
the committee and all the
participation on the day of
the parade. Hopefully the
community appreciates all
of this hard work.
BELL RINGING
Thanks to Jane for
organizing
The Salvation Army Bell
Ringing. We had 34 shifts
totaling 54 hours. As Phil
Hanson from the Salvation
Army said at our
December 9th meeting
our club is the largest
organized group in
Oconomowoc to ring on a
regular basis. Maybe we
should challenge the Lions
and Rotary next year. Our
totals for the past several
years 2012- $2316.00
2013-$3673.00 , 2014 $3295.00
Lets hope 2015 is our best
yet.
Thanks to all who rang the
bell especially those who
rang multiple shifts.
CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST
Thanks to Carol Wagner
for putting together our
entertainment at the last
minute. She was able to
get about 15 members of
the Community Choir to
come and sing and lead us
in a sing along. Very
enjoyable !!! We sure
sound a lot better with
them singing with us !!
Also thanks to President
Jim for getting those very
nice poinsettias from
Rhodee Floral. Each
member received one
and we also left about 8
for the staff at Lake
Terrace who take care of
us so good all year.
KEY CLUB BLOOD DRIVE
The Kettle Moraine Key
Club held a Red Cross
blood drive at the school
on Tuesday , December
15. This was just for
students and staff. This
was the 3rd year and the
most successful.
They collected 92 units.
The Key Club will receive
2-$250.00 scholarships to
award.
KEY CLUB ADVISOR
JEREMY STRUSS
Congratulations to Jeremy.
He is taking a position at
Swallow school district in
Hartland as the head
financial person. This is a
great step in his career.
The bad part is after 8
years we will be losing
him as our Key Club
Advisor. Jeremy was a
great advisor spending
countless hours on club
paperwork but more
important was his hands
on approach. He was
involved in all of the
projects. He would spend
both days and evenings
with the kids at the fright
hike and then be there
Sunday morning for clean
up. He also would
chaperone for the Key
Club District Convention
each year. That is a Friday,
Saturday, Sunday
commitment.
He had also helped us at
the Art Festivals and took
over for me deep frying
at the Shrimp Dinner
when I had to leave early.
THANKS TO JEREMY FOR
HIS YEARS OF LEADERSHIP
AND DEDICATION.

KEY CLUB KRINGLE
SALE
Congratulations !!
Thanks to everyone who
purchased kringles. They
had a very successful sale.
Their profits will go
towards their District
Convention trip Green
Bay. We bought enough
(52) to pay for the bus
which is split with
Waukesha. They really
appreciated our support !

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
We will be doing a
membership drive starting
this winter and on going. The
plans are to contact the local
businesses and ask them to
find someone at their
company that would be willing
to join a service club and the
company would back them.
A letter will be sent and then
a personal contact made. We
will use the chamber list but if
anyone has a contact name at
any of the businesses please
let me know so we can use
that name. Please let me
know if you can serve on the
committee. We also plan to
have articles in the
newspaper letting the
community know what we do
and asking them to join in on
the community service we do.
We plan to kick this off at our
January 20th meeting.
