Development Worker

35 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to work within two dynamic organisations which really
make a difference.

BVSC, in an exciting new partnership with youth led charity Changemakers, is


seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, responsible and motivated person to
develop and deliver a fresh volunteering initiative working with ex-offenders. The
post will require supporting ex-offenders and those out on license into volunteering,
as well as supporting organisations to develop their capacity to increase the
involvement of ex-offenders as volunteers in their organisations.

The post-holder will need excellent interpersonal skills, be adept to partnership


building and achieving target driven contracts. A good understanding of the issues
which currently face ex-offenders would be desirable.

Applicants are advised that this post will require readiness to work from both BVSC
and Changemakers’ offices, as well as significant outreach work and some out of
hours working.
