Matrix Creation

To create a matrix from a single column of data: 1) Copy the column of data and paste it next to the original to create pairs of observations. 2) Delete the first and last values. 3) Name the columns and select a value randomly. 4) Use dynamic cross tabulation to create a table with the columns as rows and rows as columns, counting the values.

Matrix creation

Enter your data in one column


To create pairs (each observation with the next one)
Select all data
Copy it
Past it in the column next to it by adding one row
Delete the last and first values
Give names to the columns (e.g first/second)
Select randomly one value
Chose insret>menu>dynamic cross tabulation
Create the dynamic table on a new sheet
On the wizard menu drag and drop the first on the rows and the next on the
columns
Add either next or first to value
Click on the left button > value field settings > count
