A young prince arrived at King Ottar's castle and fell in love with his youngest daughter who was very beautiful. The king said the prince could only marry his daughter if he could correctly identify her among the king's daughters. The king lined up all his daughters along a wall, so the prince could only see their feet. All the feet looked the same except one pair that suddenly moved. The prince said that was the woman he loved, but it was actually the king's eldest daughter who was not beautiful. However, she was extremely intelligent and had a good sense of humor, so the prince fell in love with her and they lived happily ever after.
