Wind Load Calculation + Design Criteria

This document summarizes the load calculations for the design of an aluminum roof sheet and supporting structure. It calculates dead loads from the roofing material and purlins of 7.06 kg/m2 and 4.71 kg/m2 respectively, for a total dead load of 11.77 kg/m2. Service loads are specified as 75 kg/m2. Wind load calculations are performed according to British standards, resulting in a peak wind load of 2.13 kN/m2 and minimum of -1.96 kN/m2 acting on the roof from different wind directions. Foundation design considers loads from walls and adjacent buildings.
