1) Login in to FA.

2) Navigator -> Setup and Maintenance.

3) Search for the Task Manage Duties

4) Click on Go to Task :

5) It will re-direct to APM :

In Authorization Policy Manager (APM)

1) Search for the Application Role named Applications Common Application Impersonator Role under
the fscm application
Here the Application name I have chosen is fscm

Click on Application Roles Search

Copy the Role name: Applications Common Application Impersonator Role paste it in the search box and
click on next arrow.

2) Click Open Folder icon to get to the role details view

3) Click on the External Role Mapping tab

4) Click on the Add button

5) Search for Role Name as PER_EMPLOYEE_ABSTRACT

Paste the role name and click on


search

6) When you just click on the Role name the Map Roles Button will be enabled.
Click on the role

7) Click on the Map Roles

Click on Map
Roles.

8) You can view the role Employee is added to the Applications Common Application Impersonator
Role

In Fusion HCM Application


1) Logout and re- Login to Fusion HCM Application as Admin user

2) Navigate to Tools > Scheduled Processes page

3) Click on Schedule New Process :

4) Search for the Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes job

5) Click on OK.

Paste it here
and click on
search.

6) Accept the default parameters and hit the Submit button

7) Wait till the job completes successfully

8) Status of the Job is Succeeded

Once the above mentioned steps are completed you will be able to use the Proxy user feature in Fusion Applications.

1) Now Click on Set Preferences :

4) Enter the name of the person whom you want to use as proxy user and click on search.

5) Now select the name and click on Apply.

Click

6) Give the start date and end date as per the requirement and click on Save.

Now this user will act as the Proxy user/Approver till the given time period.
