democracy is a democracy in which the people or citizens of the state have less influence than in
traditional liberal democracies. This type of democracy is characterized by voters choosing to
elect representatives in free elections.2 This type of democracy has emerged from
authoritarianism since 1980s. A procedural democracy is essentially a competition of parties in
an electoral system.3 In general, Procedural democracy emphasizes to the functioning system of
law making bodies and political institutions like election procedure, election commission,
legislative assembly etc.4
