Homework accounts for 40% of the trimester grade and is scored out of five points for selected problems and two points for completeness. Quizzes and tests, which make up another 40% of the grade, vary in points but quizzes are around 50 points and tests 100 points. The remaining 20% comes from projects, in-class assignments, and participation assessed using rubrics and points for activities like warm-ups and note-taking.
