Not a trade or vocational program. Students
have the opportunity to deeply explore high
interest career areas through an inquiry
learning method.
CAPS is driven by changing workforce needs
and therefore is constantly changing. CAPS
curriculum is dynamic, constantly evolving to
follow industry trends and market changes
using a copyrighted rapid prototyping
curriculum development process.
College credit is available and also offers
students the opportunity to begin a process to
earn a bachelors degree from the University
of Kansas in 3 years
Designed to encourage students to think
critically, solve challenging problems, and
develop skills which will prepare them for
college and future careers. These skills can
include oral communication, public speaking,
research skills, teamwork, project
management, and portfolio development.
