CLASS ROOM RULES:
1. Be respectful of others
2. Follow class directions
3. Listen and participate in class discussions
4. Absolutely no food, drink, gum, or candy
permitted.
5. Cell phones are for educational use only
RATIONALE FOR CLASS ROOM RULES:
1. Being respectful of other will lead to a positive
working environment where students are given
the best opportunity to succeed.
2. Following directions allows teacher to give
students best opportunity to be successful
during class.
3. Being active in class discussions will help
students participation grade and show teacher
students fully understand the material.
4. Having food in class leads to messes which leads
to ants and other bugs invading the classroom.
5. Cell phones are to only be used when instructed
by the teacher to help students generate ideas
during class discussions.
CONSEQUENCES FOR NOT FOLLOWING CLASS ROOM
RULES:
1. Verbal Warning
2. Private conversation between teacher and
student in hallway
3. Letter sent home to parents + Detention
4. Call Parents + Detention
5. Referral to Principal

REWARDS:
1. Positive parent call or email
2. 5 bonus points on test/quiz/paper
3. Free pass for 1 assignment
4. Make corrections to paper or HW for higher grade
5. Open book Test or Quiz

Class Procedures:

1. Procedures for Entering Classroom:


a. Walk into class quietly without running or
pushing.
b. Take a seat.
c. Get out notebook and start taking down
notes on the board.
d. Wait for further instruction.
2. If you are Late to Class:
a. Walk in quietly.
b. Sign-in at the Tardy Sheet. (Name, Date,
Time)
c. Take your seat.
d. Start taking notes of activity in progress.
e. Continue working until I get to your desk.
3. If you are Absent:
a. Your responsibility to make up the
assignments you missed.
b. Join activity in progress.
c. During downtime in class get information
you missed from responsible classmate.
d. If you need to make up a test or quiz see me
after class to set up a time and date.
4. Turning in Assignments:
a. Turn all assignments (homework, groupwork, individual assignments) in the tray on
my desk at the beginning of class.
b. If I dont have it by the time class starts it
will be considered late.
5. Using classroom Equipment:
a. Dont abuse equipment.
b. Dont waste product.
c. Grab equipment (tape, pre-wrap, and other
modalities)
d. Wait for further instruction.
e. Put everything back where it belongs.
f. Get ready for next class.
