of the Max MicroTuner as a direct plug-in Tuner that allows you to program performance into your vehicle
without having to even open the hood! The FLASHPAQ leads the way in technology with internet updates,
downloadable custom tunes, and data logging capabilities. More applications will be available soon for

Superchips

The beginning of Superchips takes us across the pond to England. In 1983, Superchips Inc. was founded as
one of the first companies to specialize in tuning computer controlled EFI vehicles. In these early years,
the company focused on serving the British performance community with high end tuning capabilities.
This eventually led State-side where EFI was just catching on in motorsports.
Originally, Superchips produced the EPROM, commonly called chips. These Electronic Programmed Read
Only Memory chips would replace the EPROM in the factorys Electronic Control Module. The days of EPROMs
faded away as the ability to flash the ECM to modify various engine and transmission parameters came
to fruition.
The bulk of Superchips product lines today are plug-in tuners or programmers. The Max MicroTuner and
the new FLASHPAQTM are the easiest way to tune-in performance to your late model vehicle. Though we
are famous for our improvements in power and torque, up to 20%-hp in gas vehicles, with up to 150-hp
gains in turbo diesels, its the overall drivability benefits that impress most. Less downshifting while
pulling steep hills, improved midrange torque, increased fuel efficiency, and quicker throttle response
are all benefits that arise from a Superchips tune.

There is no easier way to improve your vehicles performance than with a Superchips Tuner. You dont

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEAK AND MAX GAINS?

A: Peak HP gains are measured at the rpm level where the OEM rated the stock engines highest
horsepower. Max HP gains are measured at the rpm level with the greatest gain over stock. Simply put,
Max is the greatest or widest range between stock and Superchips. Peak is the gain at the vehicles
highest rating.
Q: ARE SUPERCHIPS HANDHELD TUNERS EASY TO INSTALL?
A: Extremely easy. Installation generally takes less than 10 minutes and requires no automotive
knowledge or mechanical ability whatsoever. Also, the Superchips tune can easily be removed and the
stock program will be put back in place. Superchips also offers a variety of other product lines including
a digital propane injection kit for diesel trucks, the Firefly, a plug-in power module and dual sweep
gauge, as well as Lazer gauges for monitoring vital engine data such as turbo boost and exhaust gas
temperature. These products are also designed to maximize ease of installation.

Q: CAN A SUPERCHIPS TUNER OVERRIDE THE FACTORY SPEED LIMITER?
A: In most cases this option is available. Please check our products page for your vehicles specific list

Q: DO YOU NEED TO RUN HIGHER OCTANE FUEL?
A: While some Superchips products give you the choice of running 87 or 91-93 octane fuel, most vehicles
will require the use of 91- 93 octane fuel to achieve the greatest horsepower and torque gains.
Q: ARE ALL OF THE RPM POINTS PROGRAMMED?
A: Yes, we tune at all throttle positions, from idle to wide open throttle.
Q: CAN I STACK A SUPERCHIPS PROGRAM WITH ANOTHER PROGRAMMER OR TUNER?
A: No, it is not recommended to mix or stack a Superchips calibration with another performance chip,

SUPERCHIPS RETURN/REFUND POLICY

If for any reason you are not satisfied during the first thirty (30) days after your purchase of a new
Superchips product, you may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price,
credit or a replacement product at the dealers discretion. This Guarantee does not apply to products
purchased from on-line Internet auctions nor does it apply to products purchased as used items. Follow
these procedures:
1. If you are returning a MicroTuner or FLASHPAQ TM, use it to return your vehicle to the stock settings.
Further instructions are included in the user manual.
2. Put the Product back in its original packaging.
3. Make a copy of your sales receipt. The sales receipt must be from the location where you purchased
your Product and must include the name of the business, its address, and the part number or description
of the applicable Superchips Product. Invoices, credit card statements, or sales receipts from an online
payment service will not be accepted.
4. Return the Product in its original packaging with a copy of the sales receipt to the place of purchase.
SUPERCHIPS WARRANTY
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship in any product sold by Superchips or its
affiliates through its authorized dealers (Product).
This warranty lasts for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Coverage terminates if you sell or
otherwise transfer ownership of the Product.
Superchips will repair or replace the defective or malfunctioning Product or any defective or
malfunctioning part thereof at no charge. This warranty covers parts and labor only. Superchips will
reimburse you for all reasonable shipping charges within thirty (30) days of purchase.
This warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by abuse, misuse, acts of God, or improper
installation or repair by non-Superchips personnel. This warranty does not cover Products purchased
used nor does it apply to Products purchased from on-line auctions or entities that are not Superchips
authorized dealers. This warranty does not cover damage to your vehicle. Use of the Product to change
the performance characteristics of your vehicle could invalidate the warranty provided by the vehicle
manufacturer. Consult your vehicle warranty before using the Product on your vehicle. SUPERCHIPS
SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES
DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE
LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
How Do You Get Service? If something goes wrong with your Product during the warranty period, use
the following procedure to return the Product to Superchips.
1. Call Superchips Customer Service at 1-888-227-2447 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00
pm EST to request a Return Authorization (RA) number.
2. Mark the outside of the shipping package with the RA number. Packages that are not marked with the
RA number will be refused.
3. Make a copy of your sales receipt. The sales receipt must be from the location where you purchased
your Product and must include the name of the business where you purchased the Product and the
address of such business. Invoices, credit card statements, or sales receipts from an online payment
service company will not be accepted.
4. Send the Product, postage paid, the copy of the sales receipt, a brief written description of the
problem, and your contact information to:
