Lesson Plan - Comparing Integers

The lesson plan compares integers using greater than, less than, and equal to symbols. It involves having students draw number lines, mark integers on them, and identify which number is bigger by circling the number farther to the right. A hungry crocodile image is used to demonstrate that it will always eat the bigger number. Formative assessments include thumbs up/down responses and cold calls where students refer to the number line chart to compare numbers. The lesson runs from 0-35 minutes and engages students through hands-on activities like drawing on the board.
