Pstat 126 Syllabus

PSTAT 126 is a course on regression analysis taught in fall 2014 by Dr. Julie Swenson. Course Description:
Linear and multiple regression, analysis of residuals, variable and model selection including stepwise
regression, and analysis of covariance.
Prerequisites: PSTAT 120A, PSTAT 120B

Homework assignments will be collected in lecture. Late homework will not be accepted. No make-ups
for missed assignments or exams, except in the case of documented emergencies. You will need two
8.5x11 blue books for this class: one for the midterm, one for the final.
Academic Dishonesty: Any student caught cheating will, at minimum, receive an F for the course.
According to University rules, cheating must be reported to the College of Letters and Science. Further
action may be taken.
Note:
No lecture on Wednesday Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving Eve)
No discussions the week of Thanksgiving
