Pstat 126 Syllabus

PSTAT 126 is a course on regression analysis taught in fall 2014 by Dr. Julie Swenson. Linear and multiple regression, analysis of residuals, variable and model selection including stepwise
regression, and analysis of covariance.
Prerequisites: PSTAT 120A, PSTAT 120B

Homework assignments will be collected in lecture. Late homework will not be accepted. No make-ups
for missed assignments or exams, except in the case of documented emergencies. You will need two
8.5x11 blue books for this class: one for the midterm, one for the final.
Academic Dishonesty: Any student caught cheating will, at minimum, receive an F for the course.
According to University rules, cheating must be reported to the College of Letters and Science. Further
action may be taken.
Note:
No lecture on Wednesday Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving Eve)
No discussions the week of Thanksgiving
