Complexions

There is Happiness
Waiting to be befriended
Caressed and cuddled.
Sorrow also has wishes.
He wants to stay close
And get his quota
Of happiness.
Desire always wins.
She has too many
Worthy suitors.
Violence is not
A great companion.
But he has a few
Very close friends.
Complexion is what
Distinguishes them.
Learn to be aware
Of complexions.
