This 30 minute film is based on interviews between an artist and a US drone pilot about the drone pilot program. The pilot discussed the technical aspects of his job and daily routine, and briefly described incidents where both enemies and civilians were fired upon. This caused psychological difficulties for the pilot. The film would show an actor playing the pilot reluctantly sitting for an interview in a hotel room. The interview is repeatedly interrupted by the actor's digressions about his experiences in Las Vegas. Through flashbacks, the stories form a circular plot that returns to the blurred face and voice of the actual pilot discussing how 5000 feet is the best viewing distance to get detail without being too close. 5000 feet is the best
This 30 minute film is based on 2 interviews between
Omer Fast and a US Drone Pilot about the controversial but opaque drone pilot programme took place in a hotel in las vegas back in September 2010. The operarator agreed to discuss the technical aspects of his job and his everyday routine. Off camera and off the record, he breifly described incidents in which both enemies and civillians and been fired at - and the psychological difficulties hes has experienced as a result of his job. It follows an actor cast as the drone operator who grudgingly sits for an interview in a dark hotel. The interview is repeatDouglas Gordons 24 Hours of Psycho edly interrupted by the actors digressions, which take In 1993, Scottish artist This stretches the movie out to exactly 24 the viewer on meandering trips around Las Vegas. Perception vs reality
Matt Mullican is a rose to
prominence as a memeber of the pictures generation. His work is concerned with systems of knowledge, meaning, language and signification. Mullican also like to work with the relationship between perseption and reality. Mullicans Psycho Architecture shown on the left, Uses to screens with headphone to make the experience more personal to the audience.
On one screen shows a man
walking around a room and on the the other screen shows the same exact thing but from his point of view, this clearly shows the differences in the relationship between Perception and reality. i would install this the same way as mullican as it includes the audience in a much more personal way.
