Importance
It is important to have finances in place before production starts, as every
producer needs to pay for Equipment used such as Cameras, tripods, green
screen, lighting and sound. For an Advert production for example, a producer
may also need materials such correct costumes, items for correct mise-en-scene
and talent in order to fulfil the desired effect. Crew will also be needed such as
cameraman, soundman lighting engineer researchers editors and runners in order
to produce a professional looking advert.
Once all is complete facilities such as editing suits and postproduction equipment
will be needed and these cost a lot of money.

Deadlines are extremely important because it will help you keep
track of your work load and help you keeping your work to a high
enough quality. If you keep your work on time then you will be able
to spend more time on the next time and so making it a better
quality. If you keep to your deadlines then you will be able to
prepare more for your production, so make sure that you have
availability to equipment and personnel. You need to make sure that
when you create your production that you are able to get all the
equipment you need. This will again go the same for personnel. It is
vital that all the people you need are able to do a certain time and
day. So if you stick to your deadlines then you will have more times
that you will be able to do.

It is important to have original material because it gives the
audience more of an understanding about the raw material within
the production, it helps the audience become more engaged within
the whole production process. This can then be stored within an
archive or library. So all the photos, sound, raw material would be
able to be stored in a safe secure place so you can come back to
that Information whenever you want. Its important to have internet
as this would be a great way to spread your upcoming productions
and keep your fans up to date on whats going on. You can share

Now onto our main story seeing as Henley regatta qualifiers are only
a few weeks away we would like to have more of an understanding
of what the regatta brings to the community so heres Patrick
speaking to Vivian an owner of a small caf down by the river.

The importance of location recces Is that you will know exactly

location to make your production that much more professional. You
need to think not just about the look of the location but about the
distance, access, cost and weather. You need to keep track of what
the weather will be like so the conditions would be perfect for the
day, making sure that you don't have to travel too far and Its easy
to access.

sued by filming on a location where you shouldnt be. If this location

ideas will stay yours, no one else will be able to copy your ideas or
use them without your permission. So it will help your productions
become significant to you. Health and safety is important seeing as
it will ensure that no one will get hurt on set whilst filming. This is
why its a good idea to get insurance so if equipment does get
damaged or you to get hurt you know you won't have to worry
about money.
