Time:

Deadlines
Availability of equipment
Availability of personnel (size
of team; roles)

Importance

Deadlines are very important. to be able to meet with your

deadlines Is key, because if you fall behind you may not able able
to catch up in time. every director needs to be In control of time
management and how to follow through with plans. which days to
have specific scenes completed by will help the overall flow of the
production smoother. if a film comes out late it can have fans and
investors waiting for what they're owed, it's also better for
company image if the film is on time with the schedule as people
can trust the production company and investors and such will trust
you more with their money, and actors will have a better time with
their busy lives to perform In the film. you may only have
equipment and people rented out for limited time, so if you run over
your deadline you may also have to shell out more investments in
leasing them out longer.

Sourcing
you can keep ahead of your deadlines with the following production

Facilities:

Production equipment
Post-production equipment
facility houses

Importance

Production equipment is important as they are the driving objects to

putting a film together, renting out the equipment will take ime and
will involve the importance of deadlines. make sure you don't beak
anything otherwise you will have to pay the equipment rental
company money to replace for a new one, make sure you look you
for any glitches or faults in the camera's recording technology
because If it doesn't work properly and It's not you fault, you must
send out for a new one ASAP before any crucial filming Is done, as
It could all be wiped from a bad SD card or badly lit.

Interviews
Costumes

Importance
It is important to have original material because it keeps the film

authentic, and if you want to create a realistic setting you should

use your own footage. If you film your own establishing shots then
it will make for a more unique movie, it may cost a little extra but
the chances of your movie looking similar to other movies of that
theme based on shots that aren't yours is heavily decreased.
Archive material would be used because If you don't have the
budget to visit on site locations for an establishing shot, you can
purchase one of theirs so that you can have your movie completed.
it cost effective to get the look you want but might not always be
original and authentic,

Sourcing
Original material is filmed by the director but archive footage for
productions can be found at.

Locations:

Recces (Upload an example)

Limitations and risks:
Distance, access, cost,
weather

Importance

location recces are important because the director needs to know

where exactly the film will be shot, so they send out someone to
gather a recce. this is a picture of the location with information on
how to get there, this is important to the film crew as they need to
know where the nearest hotel is if they need to stay, where the local
hospital or means of travel is if they need to take a train or bus to
get there.

Codes of
practice and
regulation:

Location permissions
Clearances
Copyright
Health and safety
Insurance

Importance
No land is free. as a director you'll need permission from whoever
owns the land you want to film on, whether it's the local
government for a large plot of land or the man who owns the field.
it's not legal to film there unless you have the correct authorisation.
This also falls under clearances, it must be clear for everyone that
you're here so that signs can be put up to expect lots of noise or for
nobody to drive/walk through the area whilst in progress. the local
people must be aware of what's going on.
Copyright belongs to the person who invented the character, or the
setting or the name. so before you use any characters you must
have permission from the original creator and pay them a royalty for
its use.
health and safety Is important for actors and crew alike, if wires or
danger gives damage to persons or property action must be taken
to prevent it before it happens. you must seek out every possible
angle of risk before shooting. make sure you take out a lot of
insurance just in case something awful happens and everyone dies.
worst case scenario.
