I am writing to apply for the position of Team Member that was recently advertised on
SnagAJob.com. I am well qualified for this position. My qualifications include my education
passed the required GED/ High School Diploma and my work experience from being a Team
Member at Taco Bell.
My education at the University of North Texas is still in progress. But, what my education thus
far exhibits is that I am a quick learner because in college one typically has to adapt to the pace
at which college challenges oneself. I have had over a year of restaurant experience at Taco Bell.
I have a Certified Food Handlers License that has allowed me to not only interact with customers
but also to lend a helpful hand in the kitchen preparing food. I was offered a Shift Leader
position shortly before I resigned from Taco Bell. I did not accept their offer because I was
leaving for college and did not feel I could put my full attention into the job. I also have
leadership experience in other areas of my life as well. The organizations that I am involved in
help me utilize my skill of working with others. In my organizations, I have taken on extra
responsibilities like being a chairman, as well as received the opportunity to work with a diverse
group of people.
