Alabama
Famous People & Places
Activity Pack

by Emily Brown

Thank YOU!
Thanks so much for downloading my Alabama activity pack! Pages 3-11
are the famous people from Alabama cards. Just print these out on
cardstock and glue them on
colored paper (so that the names of the people dont show through).
Heres a picture of mine just to give you an idea of how you
might display these:

Pass these out to students and have the kiddos act as a living museum,
reading aloud the cards info without reading the persons name. Have
the kids try to guess who the famous Alabamian is before divulging the
answer.
Pages 12 & 13 are the cards for the I Have, Who Has game. Print,
laminate and cut these out for a little I Have, Who Has action. Just pass
these out to the students and have them read them aloud, one card at a
time. Its pretty self-explanatory once you get it going.
Finally, have the kids complete an online scavenger hunt to find
some awesome facts about famous places in Alabama. I used a Sqworl
page to compile some useful websites. Feel free to use it by going
here: http://sqworl.com/woxp1k
Thanks again. Hope you enjoy these activities!
