Deleting Assignments From FSX

To customize keyboard controls in FSX for the FA-18E: go to Settings > Controls > BUTTONS/KEYS tab; assign the numbers 0-9 and Ctrl+0-9 to unassigned lines like APU (off) by pressing the keys; hit OK, delete, and repeat for all numbers; save and restart your computer. The customized keyboard controls can then be used to fly the FA-18E as instructed.

Start FSX.

Go to Settings:

Then Controls:

Go to second tab BUTTONS/KEYS and we are


interested in Keyboard column:

Now You have to click on any line where keys are not
assigned, for example APU (off). You can left-click
this line twice, or mark it and click New Asssignment
Now press 1 on the keyboard:

Hit OK, then Delete Key Assignment:

Mark it again and now press 2 and repeat with all


0-9 digits. Then do the same thing but now pressing
also Control key:

After You deal with all 0->9 and ctrl+(0->9)


keystrokes press OK:

Then Save:

After these steps close FSX and restart the computer.


Now try to run the procedures we gave You to fly
FA-18E.
