numbertoasquare.Tellthemtoleaveenoughroomineachboxtowriteaword.
Youshouldalsomakeasheet,cutitupintonumberedsquares,andputtheminto
aboxoranotherkindofcontainer.Drawanumberfromthecontainer,andcallit
outalongwithaspellingword.Tellstudentstofindthatnumberonthegridand
writethespellingwordinthatnumberedsquare.Instructstudentstoshout
