Reflections
Last week we had an enjoyable time during Literacy Week. We read many books and
watched videos from our chosen author. We also talked about what the difference between a house and a home were and what makes a home our special place.

Learning Engagements:
Next week we will be focusing on:
Language - Organization of our literary ideas when we are writing, focusing on sentence
composition and reading assessments.
Maths - We will be counting backwards and skip counting
Inquiry - Students will talk about how culture and environmental conditions affect the construction of a house. Also, we will talk about the attitudes of appreciation and empathy
with regards to various cultures.
