STANDARD

:The butler will perform a turn down service to the standards


expected of the housekeeping department.

EQUIPMENT:

A stocked housekeeping cart, a turn down assignment sheet, and a special


turning down amenities.

PROCEDURE :Turn down service involves turning down the bed sheets and
refreshing the
guestroom for the evening.
For turning down services include:
Cleaning the bathroom and restocking it with fresh towels
Rotating or restocking amenities
Tidying the guest room
Emptying back the bedspread, blanket, and top sheet
Fluffing the pillow
Drawing the drapers
Place breakfast menu
Place a fresh blossom or a chocolate mint on the pillow
Switch on bedside lamps
Leave air-conditioner or heating on low
Arrange for the pillow menu as per request .
