Formulating and developing a new
method for offshore pile design and
analysis.

I developed a new method for offshore pile analysis taking into account the new modified
API code in VBA which helped the company in easier analysis of offshore pile design.
Summer Project:
Tsunami Housing Planning and Scheduling
Its an ongoing project for building houses for the Tsunami affected people, undertaken
by NGOs like SEVAI, SIFFS and government.
Worked under Assistant Professor Ashwin Mahalingam, Department of Civil
Engineering, IIT Madras for 2 months.
I wrote a program using VBA to optimize the number of days taken for the construction
work, which in turn helped the NGOs to complete their work faster.
The work consisted of simulation of data obtained from the construction site in a code
written in VBA, modification of the code and the analysis of the results.
