This lesson will activate students prior knowledge of the brain as well as introduce them to the
three major sections of the brain:
1. Brain Stem
2. Cerebrum
3. Cerebellum
Students will know each parts name, where it is located, and what it is responsible for.

Assessment:
- K-W-L Chart: Assesses both prior knowledge and what students have learned
- Class discussion: Assess whether students are grasping the concepts
- Successfully creating clay model of the brain
