30 ST MARY Axe(0 St Mary Axe is located on the former site of the Batic
Exchange in the Cty of London, The distinctive form of the
AD storey office tower adds to the cluster of tall buildings that
symbolises the heart of London's financial centre. It is the
capitals first enviconmentaly progressive tall bulging. 30 St
Mary Axe is not only an office building; its street leva is publicly
‘eccessible with double-eight retail outlets that serve the local
working community. and the bulding is set within a new public,
plaza.
At the top of the building are private dining and corporate
hospitality facies for the buildings occupants and their
quests. Beneath the glazed dome a restaurant offers
‘spectacular westerly views. The restaurant's mezzanine ~ 9
