Threats are as follows

misuse
Threats pose problems to the database
integrity and access.
DBA is responsible for the overall security
of the DB.

THREATS TO DATABASE
SECURITY:They can be addressed as follows
1) Loss of availability
(data or system or both cannot be
accessed by the user)
2) Loss of data integrity
(invalid or corrupted data)
3) Loss of confidentiality or secrecy
(Protecting or maintaining secrecy)
4) Loss of privacy
(Protecting data from users)
5) Theft or fraud
(involvement of people)
6) Accidental losses

TYPES OF DATABASE SECURITY ISSUES:1) Legal and ethical issues
