Master Kao San-Lun began his martial arts training at age 16 under Master Hsu Hong-Chi, mastering Tang Shou Tao, Chinese physiotherapy, and acupressure. He later studied under Grandmaster Chiao Chang-Hung, mastering the Little Nine Heaven System as well as other internal martial arts. On the recommendation of Grandmaster Chiao, Master Kao also learned Chen Tai Chi from Master Pan Wing-Chow. Throughout his training, Master Kao additionally studied Chinese medicine. Due to his expertise in martial arts and qi gong, Master Kao received numerous honors, including appointments as Chief Instructor of the Little Nine Heaven System and Xi Sui Gong.
