A. Remove the luggage compartment seal.
Pull it out or away from the luggage compartment.

D. Loosen wheel well liner
The front wheels do not necessarily have to be removed.

Keep a record of where each type of bolts come from as there are a few different styles of bolts here
There are also two plastic rivets in the under side of the bumper. Use a flat screwdriver to pry out (they can be
re-used)

F. Remove bumper and place face down on a non-scratch surface

2. Remove existing grille

Remove the bolts holding in the factory grill from the back side.
There are approx. 12 screw type bolts

Remove the bumper foam


Once the grill is removed, you can see the coloured part of the bumper that will need to be covered with the
matte black vinyl (available from eBay).
Do not cover the frame as this will still be over top of it (the black squares inside the bumper are part of the
bumper foam).

You may choose to grind away some of the foam (left + right), so it tapers off to flush at the sides. This
avoids the RS grille from being pushed out from behind.

Apply the vinyl with the foam section removed


Using 3 strips is the best way to get it to form nicely to bumper plastic. Use a squeegee when applying to
remove bubbles.

4. Install the RS Grille

Install the new grill slowly and evenly


Initially only tighten the lower screws about half way, then work the rest of the screws from bottom to top. Then
slowly work your way around tightening the screws a little at a time until they are all tight. .

5. Re-attach the front bumper cover

Start by installing the screws and leaving them loose until you get the bumper re-aligned to where it was.
Once the bumper is lined up, tighten all the bolts and screws..

Re-install the trim panels in reverse order as they were removed
