A micro-manometer uses a reservoir connected to two flexible tubes to measure pressure differences. The reservoir level is adjusted with a micrometer screw to a reference mark before pressure is applied. When pressure is applied, the liquid levels change. The micrometer is then adjusted to return the reservoir level to the reference mark, and the movement of the screw indicates the pressure difference between the two points connected by the flexible tubes.
