Blair prepares for a movie night with her boyfriend but begins to hear strange whispers. She investigates and discovers an open basement door. Hesitant but curious, Blair enters the dark basement using her lighter as a light source. After taking a few steps down the basement stairs, the door suddenly slams shut behind her, leaving her trapped in the darkness.

MUSIC FADE IN
INT. COSY LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
BLAIR WESTWOOD (18), the typical pretty, but vulnerable and innocent teenager in
love, prepares for a Friday night-movie night in with her boyfriend and begins to
light candles with a lighter.
Putting the lighter into her pocket, BLAIR picks up her Iphone to text her boyfriend.
BLAIR
(Voice over whilst typing out text)
Cant wait for you to come over, this is going to be a perfect night xo
Replacing the Iphone in her hand with the TV remote from the coffee table, BLAIR
walks toward the TV and begins to flip through channels.
SOUNDS OF STATIC FROM TV
MUSIC SUDDENLY BEGINS TO BUILD PACE AND VOLUME
Behind BLAIR through the glass door, stands a figure of a spooky and intimidating
young girl named ANNE (12), dressed in a long white dress and long dark hair in
front of her face.
MUSIC DECRESES PACE AND VOLUME
ANNE disappears as BLAIR walks back and sits down on the sofa parallel to the TV
and closest to the door, which is lined up along the back of the room.
BLAIR intently scrolls through her phone, smiling.
SOUNDS OF QUIET WHISPERS
BLAIR looks around the room. As
SOUNDS OF QUIET WHISPERS STOP
BLAIRS smile wipes away and she begins to look a little worried now.
SOUNDS OF QUIET WHISPERS START AGAIN
Standing up, BLAIR stares directly toward the door.
SOUNDS OF QUIET WHISPERS STOP
MUSIC GRADUALLY INCREASES VOLUME

BLAIR walks slowly toward the door and opens it. She looks intently to either side of
the corrie door with a worried look on her face.
SOUNDS OF A DOOR CREAKING OPEN
Slowly BLAIR walks out of the living room and takes 4 small steps toward the left,
toward the basement door.
SOUND OF THROBBING HEARTBEAT BUILDS UP LOUDER AND FASTER
BLAIR stood directly in front of the open door and stared into the darkness coming
out of the open basement, hesitant to take another step forward she stood in one
place and reached for the light.
MUSIC INCRESES IN VOLUME AND PACE
Discovering that the light doesnt work, BLAIR takes a step forward whilst biting her
lip in tension and fear. She pulls out her lighter and uses it as a light source.
SOUNDS OF HEAVY BREATHING
Holding the lighter in front of her BLAIR walks 3 steps down the basement stairs.
ALL SOUNDS AND MUSIC STOP DOOR SLAMS SHUT LOUDLY
FADE OUT
