Parts of a Business Letter

A business letter should be typed
and error-free.

Writing Would you use Q template

from a word-processing program

that crea ted a letterh ead for you?

If you are enclosing a document, such as an ad to be run in a news

paper, you would key "ene" (for "enclosed' ) below your name and
address (and below the cc: line, if t here i one) at the left margin. Then
you would add an abbreviated description of the material.
Once you establish a working relationship with someone, you might
drop some formality. Remember the qualities of good commun ication,
however, and alway keep the letter brief and organized.
Word-proce 'sing software usually includes various templates to use
for letters. You can pick the one you th ink most effectively conve s the
"look" you want for you r business.
