ciate all of your hard work!
Next week, we be focusing on the consonant blends: bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, and sl. We will work
on creating words with each of these parts and how to read words with these parts.
I am amazed at how many great readers we have in our class! Thank you, parents, for
reading with your children at home! It makes an incredible difference at school!
In math, we will continue working on adding and subtracting to 20.
Our word wall words for next week are went, how, look, and down. We already have five
students who have completely mastered these and will be moving on to quarter 3 words
next week! Most students can already read them all, so be sure to practice spelling the
words at home, as well!
Next Thursday, we will be having Family Literacy Night at Lancaster! The theme is A
Night of Mystery and Suspense! Its going to be lots of fun, so please sign up and
come join in the fun from 6:30 to 8:30!
Have a fun and safe weekend! Im keeping my fingers crossed that the snow stays away
for a few more weeks!
