THE PROBLEM.
In 2011 at least a 23% of the car crashes involved cellphones.that is equal to 1.3
million crashes due to this probem. The minimal amount of time your atention is
taken off the road is 5 seconds while you are texting and driving, if you are
traveling at 55 mph. It lenghts driving a hole footbol field without looking at the
road.
SOLUTIONS.

A solution to this problem could be to make texting while driving illegal,
it has been proved by the National Hwy Transportation Safety Admin
people who text and drive are 23X more likely to have a crash. So for the
safety of the one who is driving and the people on the streets making the
use of cellphones in the car illegal might reduce the number of car crashes
and make of the streets a safer place.
~Even though a lot of people think this is not a problem teens who text
while drive stay out of the road line for approximately a 10% of the trip,
not to mention that texting while driving is about 6 times more likely to
cause an accident than driving intoxicated because it has been proved by
the National Hwy Transportation Safety Admin that texting while in the
car is the same as driving after 4 beers, that is why making campaings and
keeping teens and adults informed about this situation might help the
gravity of this problem decrease, because it is better to prevent know that
to be sorry later.
